Pastor Mark, Jeff Smart, and Lucinda Fisher are away at Annual Conference in Baltimore. Please be in prayer for them today, tomorrow, and Saturday.
Pastor Mark will be checking phone and email messages while he is gone.
The food pantry supplies are dwindling, so please remember to make buying one or two things for the pantry part of your weekly grocery shopping. We need pretty much everything the pantry stocks, but especially canned fruit, jelly, pasta sauce, canned pasta with sauce, rice, mashed potatoes, and tuna.
Please remember that funds placed in the single offering plate next to the baptismal font during communion go toward the pastor’s discretionary fund. This year, the discretionary fund has helped people in our community avoid losing power and gas to their homes, find a safe new place to live, and recover from damage to their neighborhoods in Baltimore. Thank you for contributing as you are able!
Our next Fifth Sundays Series event is this Sunday! On May 31 we will welcome Joe Ryan of the Harford County Office of Drug Control Policy. During the Sunday School hour, Mr. Ryan will speak on addiction issues our community is facing. Please plan to attend this special event.
Sunday is also our Fifth Sundays Potluck! Bring a dish to share and enjoy a fellowship meal following the Sunday School hour.
