This week the food pantry needs soup, fruit, dessert, and pancake mix. Thank you!
Please be aware that Forest Hill Elementary School will have Back to School Nights on September 1 and 2 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Parking is usually extremely tight for such events, so please plan accordingly for those nights.
This Sunday, August 30, we will gather at Friends’ Park in Forest Hill for worship, Sunday School, and our annual church picnic. Worship will be at our regular 9:30 a.m. starting time. Sunday School will follow immediately after worship and will be an intergenerational program. The picnic will begin after Sunday School. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on as well as a side dish or dessert to share. The church will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, and drinks. Invite your friends and neighbors. All are welcome!
In the next few weeks, you may receive a postcard advertising our 150^th Anniversary Celebration Weekend, September 26-27. If you receive a postcard, please share it with a friend or neighbor (and not someone else in the congregation!) who did not get one.
