The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is at work in Nepal following this week’s earthquake. If you would like to support UMCOR’s work, you may put a check in this Sunday’s offering with “UMCOR Advance #982450.” You may also visit this link (http://www.umcmission.org/learn-about-us/news-and-stories/2015/april/0427unitedmethodistsrespond) to give directly.
As part of the Annual Conference in May, all Baltimore-Washington congregations are asked to donate at least 4 new books for elementary school children (K-5). But Centre can do much better than that! Let’s aim for 40 books this month. You can find reading lists in the vestibule for examples of good books to buy. Please bring your books to church by Pentecost Sunday, May 24. There will be a box to put books in the vestibule.
