Announcements
Many of you by now have heard about the murder of nine of brothers and sisters in Christ in Charleston, SC. Bishop Matthews has written a letter to our conference in response to this act of terror, which you can read online by clicking on this link (http://bwcumc.org/bishop-matthews-calls-for-action-in-light-of-church-shootings/) .
So far we have received 37 responses to the survey from last week. Our goal is 60, so if you have not responded yet, please click on this link:

Thank you to everyone who has given so generously to the Food Pantry the past few weeks, and especially to those who have made the pantry a part of your weekly grocery shopping. Thanks to your efforts, the pantry has served many needy families in our community, even when supplies were low. This week we need canned fruit, rice, soup, macaroni and cheese, cereal, tuna, hamburger helper, vegetables (carrots, potatoes spinach–not corn or green beans), desserts, and pancake mix. Thank you!
Next Saturday, June 27, is our Habitat for Humanity workday. It’s not too late to sign up; there is a sheet in the Gathering Space after worship this morning. You can also sign up online by going to https://www.habitatsusq.org/ and clicking on “Volunteer.”
July’s Thursday Lunch Workgroup has been rescheduled for this Thursday, June 25.
The youth group will meet Thursday, June 25, afternoon at 3:30 p.m. to prepare refreshments for the Habitat for Humanity workday.
