The food pantry needs: potatoes, tuna, pancake mix, canned peas, hamburger helper, mustard, and ketchup.
Youth group this Sunday is at Jarrettsville UMC!
Our next Fifth Sundays Series event, “Why I Am a United Methodist,” is next week, on May 29. Pastor Mark will lead a discussion of United Methodist beliefs, history, and practices while incorporating some details from his own life and call into pastoral ministry. The Sunday School will be followed by a potluck in the Fellowship Hall.
The Wednesday morning Bible study is taking a break and will not meet for the next few months. Look for information about starting up again at the end of the summer.
When you come to our worship service this Sunday, please fill out a pew card to place in the offering plate during the service. Cards are marked “Guest” (green), “Friend” (pink), and “Member” (white); select the card that best describes your relationship to the congregation of Centre UMC. On the back of the cards there is space for you to submit a prayer request. There are also yellow “Prayer Request” cards should you wish to submit an anonymous prayer request.
