Please be sure you are checking our webpage (https://centreumc.org) regularly for updates to the church calendar. As part of the Annual Conference in May, all Baltimore-Washington congregations are asked to donate at least 4 new books for elementary school children (K-5). But Centre can do much better than that! We’re aiming for 40 books this month. We have collected 15 so far! You can find reading lists in the vestibule for examples of good books to buy. Please bring your books to church by Pentecost Sunday, May 24. There will be a box to put books in the vestibule.
The food pantry needs: soup, peanut butter, jelly, spaghetti, and macaroni and cheese.
Youth group is this Sunday at Centre from 5:00-6:30 p.m.
Church council meets Monday at 7:00 p.m.
Our next Fifth Sundays Series event is only two weeks away! On May 31 we will welcome Joe Ryan of the Harford County Office of Drug Control Policy. During the Sunday School hour, Mr. Ryan will speak on addiction issues our community is facing. Please plan to attend this special event.
