Hearing Assistance: If you need hearing assistance during this week’s service, headphones are available in the second pew from the front on the left (pulpit) side of the sanctuary. Thanks to Bill Krach for installing these last week!
The Winter Tea will be held on December 6, 2015. This event requires churchwide support to be a success. Please talk to Kathy Johnson for more information.
Youth Group will be next Sunday, 10/19, from 5:00-6:30 p.m. in the youth room. All middle and high school youth are invited.
Christ Episcopal Church in Forest Hill is hosting its annual Pumpkin Festival next Saturday, October 18, from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Proceeds will support FCCAU, the organization that runs the Welcome One Shelter.
Pastor Mark will be out of town from October 26 (after worship) through November 1. If you need pastoral care during that week, please contact Rev. Nick Bufano, pastor at Jarrettsville and Ayers Chapel UMCs. Rev. Bufano’s phone number will be printed in Sunday’s bulletin.
FCCAU/Welcome One Shelter is sponsoring “Strike Out Homelessness,” a Bowl-a-Thon on October 25 from 4-7 p.m. at Forest Hill Lanes bowling alley. For more information talk to Pastor Mark or visit http://welcomeoneshelter.com/events.
